The following two Humanities Council endowments continue to accept gifts:
The Charles G. Bickford Fund for Innovation
Created in 2001 in honor of former Executive Director Charles G. Bickford, this Fund supports the development of new initiatives and the expansion of current projects in the following areas: diversity in New Hampshire, building and encouraging a civil society, literacy, and conversations in the humanities.
The Dorothy B. Osborne Fund for Education
Created in 2000 and named in honor of benefactor and educator Dorothy B. Osborne, this Fund provides critical support for creative and challenging professional development in the humanities for New Hampshire public school teachers of grades
K through 12.
The NHHC has several named funds held by the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.

The decision to establish a named fund with the New Hampshire Humanities Council is unique to each person.
Whether donors opt to direct their endowment fund to support a specific area of council programming or to
leave their fund unrestricted, all endowment fund at the NHHC help to fulfill our mission.
